Since Alexion was founded in 1992, the Company has grown to a global organization with over 1,100 employees working in more than 30 countries. In 2012, Alexion has the most robust commercial organization and product pipeline in the company’s history.
Alexion has lead development programs underway with five highly innovative therapeutics, including Soliris® (eculizumab), which are being investigated across eight severe and ultra-rare disorders beyond the currently approved indications of PNH and aHUS.
